Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health and Ageing
We lead WHO’s work on the life course so that every pregnant woman, mother, newborn, child, adolescent, and older person will survive, thrive and enjoy health and well-being.

Life Course Network

This work is led by MCA and reflects a collaboration across WHO, with technical experts in each life stage across WHO HQ and Regional Offices, and scientific partners including academic institutions, research centres focusing on the life course from around the world and researchers focusing on individual life stages, as well as national institutes, and civil society organizations.

Research questions and outputs from this work are developed in close collaboration with network members.
