WHO Global Summit on Traditional Medicine

Overview

The World Health Organization (WHO) Global Traditional Medicine Centre will convene the second WHO Global Summit on Traditional Medicine. Building on the success of the inaugural Summit in 2023 and landmark Gujarat Declaration, the 2025 Summit will delve deeper into the science and knowledge shaping Traditional Medicine and include announcements of new pledges, products and innovations.

The Summit will bring together global leaders, scientists, Traditional Medicine practitioners and communities to foster partnerships, advance implementation of the new WHO Global Traditional Medicine Strategy 2025–2034 and translate the Gujarat Declaration into concrete action.
